Nickel Sesquiphosphide, Ni2P3
Nickel Sesquiphosphide, Ni2P3, was obtained by Granger by passing phosphorus vapour over nickel at a low red heat. It is non-magnetic, grey, and friable, insoluble in hydrochloric or nitric acid, as also in aqua regia. It is permanent in air up to a dull red heat.
