Nickel Orthophosphate, Ni3(PO4)2

Nickel Orthophosphate, Ni3(PO4)2.7H2O, may be prepared by adding sodium orthophosphate to a solution of a soluble nickel salt. It is pale green in colour, turning to yellow when heated. A double phosphate of potassium and nickel, namely, 2K3PO4.Ni3(PO4)2, has been isolated.
